Titans win A-5 District title

Papillion-La Vista South rode the arm of Albert Johnson and the bat of Beau Suponchick all the way to a berth in the Nebraska State Baseball Tournament.
The Titans (26-6) beat Lincoln Southeast 8-1 in A-5 District final Tuesday morning at Omaha Westside. The game, along with many other Metro-area district finals, was moved to Warrior Field after rain postponed games scheduled for Monday night. With many fields unplayable, the Field Turf at Westside was about the only place left in Omaha to play.
