Papio seeded third, Papio South fourth at state

Papillion-La Vista landed the third seed and Papillion-La Vista South is seeded fourth in the Class A Nebraska State Baseball Tournament starting Saturday.
The Monarchs (22-5) play sixth-seeded Creighton Prep (21-8) in the first round at 10 a.m. at Sherman Field.
The Titans (24-6) play fifth-seeded Millard North (24-8) in the first round at 4 p.m. at Sherman Field.
Millard West (30-3) earned the top seed in Class A.
