Monarchs grab top seed in Metro

Papillion-La Vista earned the No. 1 seed in this year’s Metro baseball tourney, which was scheduled to start today at sites across Omaha.
Scattered showers postponed the first day of games Thursday.
The Monarchs (10-3) are the top seed while the Papillion-La Vista South Titans (8-4) earned the No. 3 seed in the tournament, making the possibility for an all-Papillion final.
